Good news to those who are in charge of development of home appliances and desire to improve the design and functionality.
In this report, we will introduce Halogen-Free Ink MIX-HF which realizes mirror effect with no dulling and improves sufficient resistance to printed ink layer by printing as protective layer of Mirror ink (mirror effect ink).

1. MIX-HF Ink provides excellent performance as protective layerof Mirror ink
Since mirror effect layer which was formed by printing Mirror Ink (mirror effect ink) on polycarbonate substrate is easy to be damaged by scratch, it is necessary to overprint screen ink as protective layer. However, it was hard for ordinary ink to maintain mirror effect as well as resistance to printed ink layer because it caused dulling in mirror surface.
So, Halogen-Free Ink MIX-HF which balances maintaining excellent mirror effect and resistance to printed ink layer has been newly developed.
2. Realize mirror effect with high chroma in combination with TOC-HF and MIR-51000 Mirror Silver
MIX-HF ink also enables vivid color mirror effect with no dulling, in combination with TOC-HF and MIR-51000 Mirror Silver.

In this time, we will introduce examples of utilizing MIX-HF with a focus on vivid color mirror effect which is realized in combination with TOC-HF and MIR-51000 Mirror Silver.

Below are the examples of creating postcard by printing. TOC-HF ink and MIR-51000 Mirror Silver have been printed on transparent sheet in combination with MIX-HF ink as protective layer.

Front side for address space expresses beautiful white without the back side pattern being seen through. (Photo taken by slightly raising the card so that you can see the postcard is transparent sheet.
1-2. Vivid color mirror effect of MIX-HF where Mirror Ink was multilayer printed on TOC-HF
On the back side, mirror effect is such that the watch is reflected in the sheet.
