Adding High Value to Products with FIM/IMD (Part 2)
In our previous technical report (Vol.134) we explained about improving a product’s attractiveness through a combination of “FIM/IMD” and the “Light Transmission Function”.
In this issue, we will introduce some photos of “Light Transmission Function” examples to respond the demands for more photos.
Definition of FIM/IMD:
FIM stands for “Film Insert Molding.” IMD stands for “In-Mold Decoration.” Both processes, FIM and IMD, involve “Inserting screen printed film into a mold and creating a product through the integral molding method.”
